Ross Recreation Afterschool Classes & Programs include activities such as tennis, pickleball, youth basketball, and the Kids Club After School Program. Kids Club is an on-site after school program offered at Ross School for grades K–5 and begins on all regular school days at dismissal time, following the Ross School calendar. Ross Recreation also oversees field rentals and facility rentals that support these programs and activities.

Ross Recreation was established in 1972 as a Department of the Town of Ross and operates as a self-supporting department under the Town. The department offers over 100 classes annually for all age groups, from infants to seniors, and provides recreation and educational programs, manages recreational field rentals and facilities, and organizes Town of Ross special events. Ross Recreation and Ross School District have a long history of working together, formalized in a November 2012 Memorandum of Understanding.
Ross Recreation’s mission is to provide instruction on subjects beneficial to the Ross community in which an individual may improve or develop physically, mentally, and socially. The leadership team includes Maureen Borthwick (Recreation Manager), Wyatt Mann (Recreation Coordinator), Mallory Beren (Recreation Clerk), Kiara Ortiz (Lead Recreation Instructor / Kids Club), Jean Marc Schafer (Lead Sports Instructor), and Lorenzo “Coach C” Cowell (Lead Sports Instructor / Kids Club). Registration is only considered complete once payment has been received, a $30 transfer fee applies to customer program changes or transfers, and Ross Rec states it will not send more than 1 to 2 emails per week unless absolutely necessary. Ross Rec is also seeking afterschool Kids Club instructors and youth basketball coaches.
