The program includes wildlife specialists who teach about safety in nature in an age-appropriate and kid-friendly way and incorporate safety and being adept in nature in an age-appropriate way. Hiking boots and outdoor clothing are required each day.

The program’s stated mission is to have a focus on safety and environmental awareness in an age-appropriate way. One parent described it as “a whole day spent outside in nature – learning about animals, wildlife, trees, and more,” and mentioned that their child comes home excited about hikes, scavenger hunts, and using binoculars or nets. Another parent noted that days are full of hiking, exploring, live animal presentations, nature-themed art projects, reading, and singing, and that the aftercare program offers some Pre-K prep work. A third parent shared that the lead teacher “loves nature and cares for animals, and shares this passion with the students,” and that their child “would happily go each and every day.”
