Sacramento Youth Soccer League offers a League for U5-U18 and TOPSoccer, an adaptive soccer program for children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities. About the provider
Sacramento Youth Soccer League says its mission is “More than soccer — building confidence, character, and community.” It is serving Sacramento-area youth through the game of soccer.
- Referee Training — Training and opportunities for both new and experienced referees.
Coaches are expected to know and follow the rules of play. Referee abuse of any kind will not be tolerated. Sportsmanship Rule applies to U9-U19 recreational teams within SYSL. There is no score keeping in the lower age groups. Acceptable winning margin is a goal differential of six. Teams that win by seven or more will get a warning. A second win by seven or more will result in both games being converted to a loss in the standings. Lopsided scores will be reported to the SYSL PAD committee and repeated infractions may lead to further disciplinary measures.
