About the provider
iYa Taekwondo says it has served Sacramento since 2011. Its leadership team includes Master Xai Lor, Ms. Ana Thorne, Dr. Artavia Edwards, Ms. Lauren Felder, Ms. Malay Phu, Mr. Tyler Shum, Ms. Elodie Liu, Coach Jayson Matsurra, Ms. Tanya Martinez, and Mr. Ahmad Houjeij. The school says its mission is to change the lives of people one person at a time through martial arts, education, and coaching. Master Xai Lor has over 20 years of Taekwondo experience, nearly 30 years of working with children, and a 4th Dan black belt. Ms. Ana Thorne has over 25 years of Taekwondo experience and holds the rank of 5th Dan. Coach Jayson Matsurra was a California State Champion and national medalist, and USA Taekwondo recognized him as a High-Potential Poomsae athlete.
