Merryhill School Summer Camp

Merryhill School Summer Camp includes specific activities such as video production using green screens and software in the M2News journalism class. The program also features a Buddy Program and a 2nd grade Hero Wax Museum as part of its offerings.

Merryhill School Summer Camp takes place at a WASC-accredited elementary and middle school that has been named an Apple Distinguished School and a 2026 Grade A School by Niche. Merryhill School was founded in 1949 by Dorothy and Tom Tompkins. The school’s stated mission is “A Private School Education for the Whole Child.” Families from the Midtown, Arden-Arcade, Pocket, Land Park, Curtis Park, South Land Park, and greater Sacramento areas attend the school. The school provides daycare, preschool, elementary, and middle school education, as well as before and after care and summer camp, and every child in kindergarten and up receives their own iPad, which is used along with hands-on activities. The program is described as well-rounded, with hands-on learning and a focus on positive mindsets, and each day at the summer camp is described as a bold new experience where children create unforgettable memories and develop valuable new skills. Merryhill Schools are located in California, Colorado, Nevada, and Texas.
