Sacramento Performance Volleyball Club (SPVC) was formed 10+ years ago with the purpose of providing kids, and their families, with a positive club volleyball experience. Its stated goals are to help athletes develop a healthy understanding of the team concept, to guide teams and players to reach their top performance level, and to foster a supportive environment that develops an appreciation and love for volleyball. SPVC describes its athletes as part of the “family,” and the administration offers fair prices and flexible payment plans. SPVC states that it will offer the entire club volleyball experience for both players and parents and notes that it has some of the top coaches in the area with athletes’ best interests at heart.
For the 2025–2026 season, the ADIDAS Power coaching roster includes Mark Harrison (18 Adidas, with Ashlynn Archer), Mark Snow (17 Adidas, with Martin Soyama), Makynna Snow (16 Adidas, with assistant Ellie Pearson), Kellee Baker (16 Adidas Kellee, with assistant Karen Jernigan), Shay Lesniewski (15 Adidas, with assistant Carrie Hubbard), Mark Van Allen (14 Adidas, with assistant Abby Kadillak), Margaret Sotoa (13 Adidas, with assistant Manaia Climo), and James Kim (12 Adidas, with assistant Jon Blumberg). Premier level coaches for 17/18 teams are Tim Reilly (with Kaytlyn), Keith Hart (with Kelly), and Jessica Whitman (with Teija). Premier 15/16 teams are coached by Greg “Chappy” Chapman (with Kari), Melissa Gruenholz (with Isaiah), Eugene (with Nick), and Elisha Russell (with Teri). Premier 13/14 teams are coached by Nicole Walstrom, Jacquie Kreb (with Moslem), and Katelyn Brink (with Brian), and the Premier 12’s team is coached by Mikayla Grimes. Agility and strength training is available from Mike Davis for SPVC players, and this training is not an SPVC-run program.
The SPVC Youth Academy is designed for both beginner and intermediate players ages 10–14 and focuses on building strong fundamentals, improving skills, and growing confidence in a positive, high-energy environment. SPVC has a social media presence on Instagram (@sacperformancevb) and Facebook (Sac Performance Volleyball Club).
