About

Northern California Institute of Golf Junior Programs offers developmental, skill-building programs where kids discover and explore the basics of golf through station-game-based learning, games, and activities. Participants learn and practice golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, and simple rules and etiquette, and they identify golf club parts, use clubs safely, and choose appropriate clubs for different shots. As they progress, juniors take part in on-course 9-hole play, practice sessions on academy holes and the driving range, and work on understanding course management, shot selection, simple stat tracking, and improving scores, with options that include instruction, course management strategies, competitive play, and personalized mentorship, as well as a holistic college prep program with monthly private lessons, group training and play, and remote coaching.
