The East Sacramento Youth Soccer Club states that its mission is to make the neighborhood a better place for children and youth who master and enjoy playing soccer while learning physical and social development life skills. The program includes a recreational program and six competitive boys and girls teams. The club notes that Sacramento fields are subject to closure due to rain, and families are instructed to contact the Field Status Line at (916) 808-2336 three hours before scheduled field use to find out if fields are closed due to rain or other circumstances. The club also states that when the Air Quality Index is 130 (unhealthy) or when temperatures reach 103 degrees, all games and practices will be canceled. Families are directed to connect with their team on TeamSnap. The club highlights that the East Sac Arsenal 2011 Boys team won State Cup. The program also notes that there are exciting changes coming to the U7/U8 program and invites families in or around the East Sacramento area who are interested in having their child play soccer to contact the club.
