About the provider

Yemaso Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy was founded in 2011 and has served Sacramento since 2011. It is led by Marcos “Yemaso” Torregrosa, who is described as a 3-time World Champion and 5th-degree black belt. The academy says it teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with clarity, precision, and accountability and aims to help students do their personal best, stay healthy with jiu-jitsu exercise, and build a strong successful BJJ competition team. It is described as the most competitively successful Brazilian Jiu Jitsu institution in the Sacramento region and the first and only Sacramento based BJJ team to secure an IBJJF team trophy.

No experience required. All levels welcome. Beginner classes are recommended for new students. Women’s program is described as exclusively a female experience.
