REACH Before and After-School Childcare & Summer Day Camp offers activities such as computer lab, science projects, cooking, music, arts and crafts, games, sports, multicultural activities, and homework assistance. The program also includes daily activities and field trips as part of its offerings. A summer day camp program is available from June through August with daily activities and field trips.

All staff are trained in first aid and CPR. The child-to-staff ratio is eight to one, and can be as low as three to one, depending on the child’s needs. REACH before and after-school childcare is a program for children with and without developmental disabilities, and in this diverse environment children take part in a variety of activities. A Parent Association for the Retarded of Children and Adults (PARCA) program, REACH is part of an organization that was started by parents of children with developmental disabilities in 1952. PARCA’s mission is “Expanding opportunities for people with developmental disabilities and their families.” Over time, PARCA grew into a professional organization that, with input from families and clients, developed programs to help people with developmental disabilities live as independently as possible and worked with communities to advocate for increased rights and acceptance. REACH is licensed by the Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division, #414003043.
