After School offers an Afternoon Program with arts and crafts, baking, outdoor play, homework help, reading, and special activities. It also offers a healthy afternoon snack each day and Homework Club after snack time. Friday Fun Nite runs from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Kamparama Summer Camp Kids is available for children ages 4.5 to 11.

- General schedule: Monday-Friday, after school-6:00 PM for the Afternoon Program. Friday Fun Nite begins when After School closes at 6:00 PM and ends at 10:00 PM. Kamparama 2024 runs 7:30 AM-6:00 PM.
About the provider
After School has provided licensed day care to families in San Carlos and Belmont for over 40 years and was started in 1981. The program says it was started with the mission of providing a safe, caring, and fun place for kids to go after they got out of school. It is fully licensed, and all full-time staff meet and exceed California requirements for licensed childcare centers serving school age children and have up-to-date training in Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and Infectious Disease and Disaster Preparedness.
Enrollment is limited to five or three days per week with no drop-ins or short-term participants. Homework Club is available to any child whose parents indicate they would like them to participate. Friday Fun Nite is optional and limited in size and open to current enrollees and siblings only. Holiday Programs are open to age-appropriate children whether or not they attend year-round programs, and offer daily enrollment options. A waiting list is generally maintained at each location; the list is only for children in first through fifth grade.
