Aviation Camp is a day camp program where kids explore the wonder of flight through activities at the Hiller Aviation Museum’s Day Camps. The camp takes place within a museum setting that focuses on aviation and flight.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
The Hiller Aviation Museum opened to the public in 1998. Its mission is to serve as a cultural asset and lifelong learning resource that celebrates the spirit of discovery and innovation of aviation pioneers whose creativity made the dream of flight a reality. Core museum programs for youth are based on state and national academic standards and support K–12 school curricula in history and STEM, including interactive, hands-on programs developed in partnership with NASA. The Hiller Aviation Museum is a Smithsonian Affiliate museum. The museum’s Flight Sim Zone is designed to be fully wheelchair accessible.
