DSC Elite Basketball Academy is a club basketball program where players practice twice per week. Each practice includes 1 hour of skill training and on-court work and 1 hour of team strength and conditioning, and the program includes tournament play with 2 tournaments per month during seasons.
• Schedule: Spring season runs February 9–May 31 with a break April 25–May 4 and includes practice twice per week, 2 tournaments per month, and 28–32 games; summer season runs July 6–August 16 with a break July 26–August 2 and includes practice twice per week, 2 tournaments per month, and 10–12 games.
• Price: Spring Season: $240/month; Summer Season: $320 total.
The program’s mission statement says DSC Elite Basketball Academy is a club dedicated to player development first, above all else. The club is described as development focused and committed to investing in young athletes by equipping them with knowledge and tools related to their sport and life. Practices are held at a private facility called DSC Performance and Physical Therapy. The program is built on stated beliefs that kids should want to go to practice, young athletes should be encouraged to play multiple sports, and tournament play is used as part of the player development formula.
