Ballet Institute of San Diego

Ballet Institute of San Diego offers training in classical ballet technique, contemporary dance, repertoire, pointe technique, and pre-pointe. Students also take classes in improvisation, historical and character dance, body conditioning, stretching, variation classes, modern dance, and musical theatre dance. The program includes a Body Conditioning Program for the youngest students and a pre-professional level for students taking the full program.

For 9 joyful years, Ballet Institute of San Diego has been a home for young dancers. The school offers ballet programs for all ages 4 and up and structures its children’s dance education program according to the individual abilities of each student and their age. The program uses a system created to educate students about their bodies and the care required to maintain the precision of a professional dance career, and it is described as a flexible program where students are allowed to join Level 8 after an evaluation class. Ballet Institute of San Diego is led by Artistic Director Egle Spokaite and has internationally recognized faculty with university degrees in Child Education and Ballet.
