• Price: $25 a week for healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks
The Vine Learning Center offers infant and toddler care for children 6 weeks to 24 months and an early learning school for children ages 2 to 5. The program includes nurturing infant care starting at 6 weeks and specialized care with low ratios for babies and young toddlers. It also offers fully potty-training for children from 6 weeks before they advance to the next level, drop-in daycare as a flexible option, and summer daycare and childcare for infants to pre-K.
The program provides healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks prepared with fresh ingredients for an additional $25 a week and participates in a government food program while accepting many methods of paying for child care programs. The Vine Learning Center accepts all types of subsidy programs for payment assistance. It is a faith-based site that teaches children to forgive, to be kind to one another, and about the love God has to offer.
All staff are fingerprinted and cleared with the state of California Licensing Department and are CPR and first aid trained. The Vine Learning Center has 20 years of experience of nurturing young minds. The mission of The Vine Day Care San Diego states a commitment to a nurturing and stimulating environment, exceptional care and education, holistic development, a safe and inclusive community, creativity and exploration, values of kindness, respect, and compassion, and a dedicated team of passionate educators.
The Vine Learning Center welcomes children of all abilities and describes itself as a diverse and inclusive community that celebrates individuality. The program supports inclusion by providing access to curriculum programs, inclusive participation in programs, and support to educators through training and consultation by Education and Inclusion Services teams. Families receive regular updates, parent-teacher conferences, and access to an online portal to stay involved.
Parent testimonials describe teachers as warm and loving, say the center goes above and beyond expectations of a care provider, and note that children look forward to going to school each day. One parent in the military states that the hours fit his schedule and that his daughter is now ready for kindergarten, and another parent says they would be sad when their daughter has to leave and recommends the program to others.
