Encore Creative Arts & Enrichment Summer Camp

Encore Creative Arts & Enrichment Camp offers daily athletic and outdoor activities such as Badminton, Yoga, Field Hockey, Bumper Soccer, Basketball, and Giant Board Games, along with creative options like Photography, Mosaic, Charcoal, Painting, Musical Theater, and a Mad Scientist program. The camp includes special camps for 4–6 year olds, small groups separated by age, indoor and outdoor daily activities, and featured Kaleidoscope and Miniature Camps for younger artists. The Kaleidoscope camp incorporates structures, geometry, and math with Mosaic, charcoal, and painting, and the Musical Theater program includes a live performance, while the photography program includes hands-on practice with indoor and outdoor shots for a final project.

• Ages: 4–15 years old
• Schedule: Nine weeks of activities with modules between one and two weeks, and camps that are either one week or three weeks, plus a Run of the Camp full summer drop-in program available for each of the 9 weeks; standard daily hours are 9:00AM to 3:00PM with drop off starting at 8:30AM and after care programs from 3:15PM to 5:15PM, with pick up times at 3:00PM and 5:15PM and the latest pick up at 5:45PM.
• Price: Generally full day camp programs (9AM–3PM) are $375+ per week and afternoon camps/aftercare start at $145+ per week, with a 10% discount when booking more than 5 camps per family in a single order and an additional 10% discount for siblings taking a class; special Run of the Camp full summer drop-in pricing is $3,200 ($355 per week) for the first child and under $2,880 for siblings.

Encore Creative Arts & Enrichment Camp is in its 5th year and was one of the few camps open and operating in 2020 and 2021 with a stated perfect safety record, and field trips are suspended for summer 2024. The camp’s mission states that it is focused on live, in-person camps where kids will use their minds and will interact and socialize. The leadership team includes Laura Hodge, David Kamatoy, and Chris Janikas, and instructors include school teachers, museum staff, certified counselors, and other professionals such as martial artists, photographers, chefs, music instructors, and artists, with staff experienced with first aid and security staff throughout the camp. Daily facility sanitization and hygiene reminders are part of camp operations, and the facility is described as gated with security.

Families are asked to send campers with a lunch each day in an insulated lunch box, along with two snacks, water, sunscreen, and hats, and to avoid sending food with nuts due to allergies. Attire is requested to be comfortable and based on the week’s activities, with the note that even classroom-style camps will include some outdoor activity.
