About
STEM Camps includes activities such as building rocket prototypes, exploring distant planets, creating a mini solar system, launching an air-powered rocket, and investigating planets, moons and stars. Campers take part in activities like uncovering earth processes that create fossils, rocks and minerals, investigating earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis and other natural phenomena, and exploring bugs, rocks and the wild, with an optional bug-tasting activity. Other sessions include designing and building castles, vehicles, bridges and flying contraptions, exploring ocean mysteries such as glowing creatures and underwater volcanoes, investigating the biology, geology and chemistry of the sea, experimenting and engineering inspired by scientists, growing microbes, dissecting a squid and other organisms, building a terrarium, exploring cells, humans and animals, exploring human anatomy including the brain and circulatory system, journeying through forests, oceans, deserts and mountains to meet animals, exploring how creatures swim, crawl, soar and scamper, engineering big builds, unique toys and clever contraptions with simple materials, and building and programming battle robots to navigate mazes, battle and dance.
