Gemstone Gymnastics offers preschool gymnastics classes, school age girls gymnastics classes and teams, tumbling classes, Ninja Gym classes, and Cheer & Tumble classes. The program also hosts Kids Night Out events, birthday parties, seasonal camps, skill clinics, and summer events.
• Ages: 0–17 years old
• Schedule: Class and event options are available Monday–Saturday during daytime and evening hours; the program is closed on Sundays.
The mission of Gemstone Gymnastics is to be a place where kids of all ages and abilities are given the opportunity to learn life skills through gymnastics, with coaches, parents, and gymnasts all working towards the same common goal—to support and develop the whole child. The owner of Gemstone Gymnastics is a woman who owns the gym along with her husband Chris. Every employee is background checked, concussion trained, and CPR trained, and all staff complete CPR and first aid certification, CDC concussion training, Darkness to Light child sexual abuse prevention certification, in-house spotting and skill training for coaches, and emergency evacuation procedures training for a variety of emergency scenarios. The program conducts daily equipment safety checks and daily gym cleaning and disinfecting, and uses the nationally recognized Code Adam protocol upon any missing child.
Gemstone Gymnastics offers a Commitment-Free Trial Class with a policy that if it is not the right fit and the gym is notified within 48 hours of the first class, the rest of the session is refunded and only the attended class is paid for. Families have access to a Class Finder Tool, Parent Portal, PreTeam Login, Competitive Team Login, and Performance Team Login. The program offers unlimited makeups for classes and uses online progress tracking with graduation ceremonies and level advancement, where child achievements are recognized with trophies, medals, photos, and more. Theme weeks feature new themes every week involving imagination, decorations, and songs, with examples such as Under The Sea, Friendship, Integrity, and Brave.
Gemstone Gymnastics serves families from across San Diego and surrounding communities including Allied Gardens, San Carlos, Del Cerro, Kensington, La Mesa, Grantville, Mission Valley, and Downtown San Diego.
