Learning Jungle Mission Gorge

Learning Jungle Mission Gorge offers educational child care with play-based learning in a Reggio-inspired setting. The program includes infant, toddler, preschool, and PreK classrooms. Children have access to an onsite playground, and the program holds special events during the year such as Week of the Child, teacher appreciation, and a family picnic. The program provides all organic meals and follows policies that aim to keep sick children at home.

Learning Jungle Mission Gorge was formerly known as Little Sprouts. The facility director is Ms. Lauren Patlan. Formerly as Little Sprouts, the program serves families in the Mission Gorge, Allied Gardens, San Carlos, and Del Cerro communities.

One parent, Sarah H., shared that her family has been happy with Little Sprouts, noting caring and patient teachers, a clean facility, and special events throughout the year, and said her child was well prepared for kindergarten. Another parent, Andrea Major, described the center as a fantastic place for her daughter, mentioned that her child loves her teachers and classmates, highlighted the onsite playground and focused curriculum, and noted that the program provides all organic meals, includes parents through events, and follows sanitary practices and policies to keep sick children at home.
