JING Kids After-School Program and Camps includes Chinese language, Wushu / Kung-fu, Kids' Wushu, Taiji, Bagua, XingYi, meditation, Qigong, Zazen (Zen Buddhist Sitting Meditation), and its own STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) program. The program’s classes follow a driving curriculum, and JING trains students for the Asian Games, the Traditional Wushu Tournament, and the World Wushu Championships. It is described as a family school that started as a family school and continues to be a family school, and it offers dedicated academic time and help for students to finish their schoolwork during the After-School Program.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Weekday Wushu classes are held at 3, 4, and 5pm; Saturday lessons are at 10am; Zazen is taught every Sunday morning at 8am.

The JING Institute serves families who need an after-school program for their children, or are looking for a Saturday morning activity, and who want their children to learn useful skills for an increasingly multicultural, interconnected, and technological world. Its After-School Program in Scripps Ranch is the only After-School Program there that teaches Chinese language and Wushu / Kung-fu every school day, and it teaches Chinese language five days a week. The program is built around three stated pillars of education: cultural-linguistic, physical, and technological-academic.

JING was the first Chinese Martial Arts school in San Diego certified by the Chinese Wushu Association and the USA Kungfu Wushu Federation. JING Institute is the only school in San Diego whose Kung Fu / Wushu, Tai Chi, Xingyi, and Bagua are certified by the USA Kungfu Wushu Federation and the Chinese Wushu Association, and it is described as the only China-certified school for international Chinese Martial Arts in San Diego and the only China-certified San Diego Kung Fu, Wushu, and Tai Chi school. JING is also described as the only Chinese Martial Arts school in San Diego to follow an authentic Kung Fu / Wushu learning system.

The JING Institute is a California Heritage School located in Scripps Ranch in San Diego and is described as a large, clean, comfortable facility with nice, thick floor mats. The leadership team includes Headmaster Siu-Fong Evans, Chief Tai Chi Instructor Lui Guojing Evans (Jing Jing), and Chief Kung Fu / Wushu Instructor Christopher Mendoza. JING and Bujinkan Taka-Seigi Dojo perform at the San Diego County Fair on Saturday, June 20, from 1:15–2:15 on the Funville Stage.
