The Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater was established as a puppet theater in 1947 and is celebrating 79 years. It was originally called the Hollywood Building, then the Palisades Building, and was one of the buildings constructed for the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935–36. The program also appears at the Del Mar Fair on Kid's Free Fridays.
