AYSO Mira Mesa Region 285 offers youth soccer, including regular soccer seasons, summer camps, and skills clinics. The program includes a Fall Program and a Spring Program, along with additional soccer activities throughout the year.

• Schedule: Fall Program from August through November; Spring Program from February through May
AYSO Mira Mesa Region 285 follows AYSO’s six core philosophies: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, and Player Development. AYSO delivers world-class soccer programs for players ages 4 to 18 using 100% volunteer power, and AYSO Region 285 is 100% volunteer powered. The program is described as affordable and high quality because of volunteers and is run as an all-volunteer organization committed to providing a safe, fair, affordable, and fun soccer experience for all players and families. AYSO Region 285 is centered in San Diego, California, with players and volunteers coming from Mira Mesa, Miramar, Rancho Penasquitos, Sabre Springs, Scripps Ranch, Sorrento Mesa, Carmel Mountain Ranch, and neighboring communities.
The leadership team includes Derek Church as Regional Commissioner and Scott Potter as Assistant Regional Commissioner and Coach Administrator. Other listed roles are Edlinda Bailey as Registrar and Picture Day Coordinator, Brad Hanks as Referee Administrator, Sam Lunn as Child & Volunteer Protection Advocate, Neil Pesarillo as Safety Director, Michelle Slade as Team Administrator and Advertising Coordinator, Oli Sharp as Field Coordinator, Andrea Garrido as Field Manager, and Mike Cunningham as Webmaster.
