Momentum Acrobatics

Momentum Acrobatics offers preschool classes, preschool open gym, preschool gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, Cirque Minis, Parkour Littles, youth classes, adult classes, an after school program, enrichment, and camps. The program says classes are organized by age and skill level and are offered multiple times per week, and trampoline and tumbling has over 20 classes per week for all levels.

About the provider

Momentum Acrobatics was founded in 2021 by Misti Kay Blackledge. The leadership team includes Misti Blackledge, owner and head coach; Ivan Flores, head coach and rec director; Iva Flores, team coordinator and assistant acro coach; Rajkumar Gross, head parkour instructor; Monze Flores, marketing manager; and Will, TNT team coach. The program says it has over 30 years of coaching and 17 years running gyms in San Diego. Its mission is to get kids moving away from screens and into a safe, creative space for strength, confidence, and fun. The program says it helps hundreds of kids each month.

Classes are structured with a dynamic warm-up, skill stations and progressions, stretching, conditioning, and a class recap. Team participation is by invitation and requires a commitment to at least two practices per week. The about page says the new 16,000 sq. ft. expansion was opening Fall 2025.
