About
San Diego Junior Theatre Education Programs offers JT Tots (PreK-Kinder), JT Studio (Grades 7-12), Holiday/Vacation Camps, and Summer Camps. JT Tots is for children ages 4 and up, JT Studio is for Grades 7-12, Holiday/Vacation Camps are open to current K-6th grade students, and Summer Camps are for students in grades K-12.
Programs
- JT Tots (PreK-Kinder) — Designed for children ages 4 and up; PreK-Kinder · Once per week after school and on weekends for 1-2 hours; classes are offered every day except Fridays
- JT Studio (Grades 7-12) — Grades 7-12 · Once per week after school and on weekends for 1-2 hours; classes are offered every day except Fridays
- Holiday/Vacation Camps — Open to current K-6th grade students · One-week sessions of day camp during fall, winter and spring vacations; camp day begins at 9 AM and ends at 3 PM; optional Aftercare from 3-5 PM
- Summer Camps — Students in grades K-12 · One-week (M-F) day camps each June-August; camp day begins at 9 AM and ends at 3 PM; optional Aftercare from 3-5 PM

About the provider
San Diego Junior Theatre provides theatre education and productions for children of all cultural heritages, ages, abilities, and levels of interest. It was voted Best Dance Classes and Best Theatre Classes for Kids.
Students of all levels of experience are invited to join year-round. Classes are grouped according to grade level and discipline. Class will not meet on federal holidays that fall within a given session. Students cannot be placed above their grade level. JT may accommodate requests for students to be placed on the same team if they are of similar age/grade levels and registered for the same program. Once a program has reached capacity, families are encouraged to join the waitlist.
