Another parent described SAY’s Military Family Resource Center as a place where their family always feels welcome and where their daughter looks forward to coming every week. A youth advocate described The Collective as a powerhouse that supports movements, provides a safe arena to find and understand resources, and offers meaningful connections with a community that feels like home. Another parent reported receiving assistance from SAY San Diego with a housing deposit after a 60-day notice to move and gift cards for children’s presents at Christmas, and expressed strong appreciation and gratitude for this support.
