Summer Camps at San Diego Circus Center introduces campers to a range of circus arts, including aerials on silks, trapeze, and lyra, as well as partner acrobatics, tumbling, juggling, and clowning. Kids ages 7 to 17 become part of an artistic ensemble while learning the building blocks of circus in immersive, hands-on training across multiple disciplines. Each week of summer camp wraps up with a 30 minute showcase to share what the campers have been working on.

Jean-Luc began formally teaching circus arts in San Diego in 2008 and founded San Diego Circus Center in 2011. His performance background includes work with Pickle Family Circus, Circus Knie, and two international tours with Cirque du Soleil, specializing in teeterboard (exits and Korean plank), hand balancing, chair balancing, hand-to-hand adagio, acrobatics, Russian bar, aerial cradle, group bicycle, group juggling, columns, and clown. He has trained with many masters in the circus industry, including study at École Nationale de Cirque in Montreal.
