Aim High is a multi-year summer enrichment program that includes energizer games, STEM Class, Humanities Class, Issues & Choices Class, Advisory, art, sports, board games, movie making, and cooking. A sample day includes a Morning Circle Assembly, academic classes, Activities/Enrichment time, and a Closing Circle Assembly.
• Ages: 10–14 years old
• Schedule: Summer 2026 sessions run on varying teacher and student schedules between June 8 and July 31, with a sample student day from 8:00am early drop off through 3:15pm dismissal and optional extended care until 5:00pm.
• Price: Aim High is a multi-year summer enrichment program offered at no cost to 5th–8th graders across Northern California.
Aim High is designed for current 5th–8th middle school students who have limited access to summer academic enrichment programs, and students are expected to attend consecutive summers throughout middle school. The program is guided by CORE values of Community, Opportunity, Respect, and High Expectations, and uses restorative practices for behavior expectations and interventions to prevent and respond to conflict, harm, and wrongdoing. Aim High notes that 98% of alumni who completed the alumni survey are graduating high school and heading to college, and the organization is celebrating 40 years of summer learning.
One Aim High parent shared that the program has been a lifeline as a working parent, with a mix of fun and learning, easy communication, a variety of program offerings, and instructors their child enjoys, as well as exposure to middle school-style transitions between classes, new sports, enrichment opportunities, and mentorship.
