Before & After School Care is offered through the YMCA of Greater San Francisco. The program is part of the YMCA’s cause-driven culture, which is focused on strengthening community.
The YMCA of Greater San Francisco was established during the Gold Rush in 1853 and has more than 170 years of history. It operates 15 neighborhood branches, more than 130 program sites, and one residential camp across Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo Counties. Each neighborhood YMCA strives to reflect the needs and values of the people it serves. The YMCA of Greater San Francisco is a 501(c)3 charitable community organization, and its mission is to empower each person’s journey and strengthen the foundations of community. One community member shared that the Y is a welcoming place and that they enjoy working there and hearing how the Y has played a role in the lives of people they meet.
