Clay Class for Children is held at Castro Clay, where participants can explore a treasure trove of cone 5 clays, glazes, and tools. The program focuses on hand building and wheel throwing, providing an inclusive and inspiring environment for creativity.

The program is led by Jonah Nunez, who has over 14 years of experience working with clay and more than five years of teaching experience. Katherine Kane is the owner of the venue. Since coming to the Castro in 2024, the program has aimed to be a welcoming hub for community, creativity, and connection. It serves as a safe haven for all creators—young and old, novice and seasoned artist alike.
