Bay Area Disc’s mission is to serve, strengthen, and grow the Ultimate community by creating opportunities for athletes of all ages and backgrounds to interact, develop, and compete, and to embrace and promote Spirit of the Game in all aspects of its work and play. Bay Area Disc Summer Camps offer elementary and middle school kids a place to build skills, make friends, and be active outdoors, and camps are available across the Bay Area and welcome all experience levels. Bay Area Disc Association runs more than 100 distinct Ultimate programs in 75 different cities across all nine Bay Area counties and serves 5,000 adult and youth players annually. BADA is centered on four core values: Fun, Respect, Community, Belonging, and its strategic priorities include Community Diversity & Equity, Community Engagement, and Youth and Adult Programs. Bay Area Disc Association provides local community benefit by hosting clinics, leagues, tournaments, and other community events for thousands of youth and adult players across all nine Bay Area counties. From March 2020 until May 2021, BADA was unable to host Ultimate Frisbee programming due to the COVID-19 pandemic and instead ran alternative programming, remote events, and shared educational resources for adult and youth players, and as of September 2021 it officially resumed all Ultimate programming.
