Culinary Artistas Kids Events & Programs offers hands-on cooking experiences for kids through kids camps, birthday parties and celebrations, school programs, Plate Date family events, and virtual cooking experiences. The program also connects with families and groups through San Francisco cooking experiences, corporate team-building and networking cooking events, and venue rentals for events and parties. Culinary Artistas Kids Events & Programs was started in 2016 by founder Vanessa Silva. Since 2016, the program has brought cooking experiences to children, families, and corporate teams both online and in the Bay Area. Culinary Artistas states that it was born out of a dream to share a passion for food with the community, and that cooking is about connection, including connection to family, friends, and self. The program states a belief that kids and adults can learn to cook in a way that is both empowering and fun, and invites people to celebrate the joy of cooking and eating food together.

Culinary Artistas offers school programs in collaboration with schools and nonprofits in the Bay Area and states that it deeply values community connections, sustainable living, and making educational opportunities possible for children of all socioeconomic backgrounds. Corporate cooking experiences are offered virtually, hybrid, and in person, and virtual events are available worldwide alongside in-person programs in San Francisco.
