Coach Morgan loves open-water swimming in the SF Bay waters and wants your experience to be fun and positive, just like hers. She is a pool and open-water swim coach for kids and adults and organizes open-water swim events in and around San Francisco.
Come join her as she supports you in a small-group swim, allowing you to safely connect with your surroundings. Events for kids to adults. Swim with a family member or friend!
For 2026, we are offering an Alcatraz Crossing. Distance is 1.5miles. But often, swimmers don't swim in a direct line, so it could be 1.5- 2miles. This swim takes an average swimmer 45 - 80 minutes. Please be sure you feel you have trained enough to swim this long.
We will take a boat from the Hyde Street Pier area, motor to the island, and swimmers will jump in and swim to Aquatic Park. Maximum swim time is 90minutes as this swim is tide-influenced. We will have kayak support, so the ratio is 1 kayak to 4 swimmers.

Hi! I’m Morgan Filler and I’m the designer of See Her Swim. I have been in or on the water since my youth. As a World Champion Open-Water Swimmer, surfer, and active mom, Morgan has spent years in pursuit of the perfect active swimsuit. When she couldn’t find it she decided to make it. See Her Swim marries the elements of athletic swimwear—performance construction, support, durable fabrics—with fashion-forward designs and colors, all made from recycled fabrics. It’s for swimmers, surfers, and sunbathers—athletes and amateurs alike. Designed in Petaluma, CA, manufactured in downtown Los Angeles, CA. Made for real life.
I’ve worn all manners of swimsuits as a recreational swimmer through being a World Cup, ranked marathon swimmer and going to US Open Water Olympic Trials,. I love to surf, am a pool and open water swim coach and now mother.
I have traveled the world racing, including swimming around Manhattan Island and won it, and across the Catalina Channel.
My greatest complaint has been finding an attractive, long lasting and durable one piece bathing suit that can be worn on the pool deck with clients, surfing with girl friends, training during an early morning practice and frolicking in the waves with my two daughters.
