First Tee — San Francisco

First Tee — San Francisco offers golf instruction for kids and teens. The program includes fun and educational programs that combine golf instruction with character-building lessons. It uses three components in its approach: Life Skills, Golf, and Building Game Changers, supported by a team of over 30 coaches mentoring youth through the game of golf.

First Tee — San Francisco’s mission statement is “Empowering Youth through Golf.” The leadership team includes Jonathan Lee, Chief Programs Officer; David Halldorson, Program Manager: Golden Gate Park Golf Course; TK Thein, Program Manager: Visitacion Valley Middle School; and Kelly Woo, Program Manager: Sandy Tatum Learning Center.
