The JCCSF Youth Sports Programs are part of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, which has offered programs for more than a century and has evolved with the city. The organization states that, in a changing world, it brings people together to explore, connect and flourish, and that it cultivates connections for a more vibrant community through discovery, well-being and purpose. It describes itself as an urban and inclusive community center that welcomes everyone and uses gathering to share, inspire, support and restore. The broader JCCSF features programs for every age and interest, state-of-the-art group fitness classes, three exceptional preschools, Centers of Excellence that focus expertise and resources on educational, recreational and cultural programs and services, and a 30-foot sculpted wall in the atrium displaying its Seven Core Values (Sheva Middot). The leadership team includes a board with roles such as Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, At-Large members, Immediate Past Chair, and multiple Directors, including Michael Eisler (Chair), Juliana Bunim and Greg Geronemus (Vice Chairs), Brent Vallat (Treasurer), and Martin Tannenbaum (Secretary), along with additional Directors.
