Science & Health Education Partnership Out-of-School Time Programs connect San Francisco high school students with UCSF. The programs are part of the Science and Health Education Partnership, which includes the Daly Ralston Resource Center, a lending library of hands-on science and health materials.
• Ages: 14–18 years old
• Schedule: Daly Ralston Resource Center open Monday–Thursday, 2:30–6 PM, or by appointment
• Price: All of SEP’s programs are offered free-of-charge.
The Science and Health Education Partnership supports science teaching and learning in San Francisco through partnerships between K–12 teachers and their students and UCSF scientist and health professional volunteers, the Daly Ralston Resource Center, professional development opportunities for teachers and UCSF volunteers, out-of-school time programs connecting San Francisco high school students with UCSF, and the Bay Area Science Festival, a community celebration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). As part of UCSF, the Science and Health Education Partnership is a 501(c)3 non-profit. The Bay Area Science Festival is Northern California’s largest education event and is organized in collaboration with Bay Area universities, museums, cultural institutions, libraries, corporations, after-school groups, research labs, and government agencies, and brings together STEM role models, families, youth, and adults.
