He has taught thousands of students in the USA and has developed a professional staff of top black belt instructors, whose top instructors are masters and kung fu sifus known as martial arts experts and teachers. The academy offers classes for kids, teens, and adults, and students are able to gain a deep and well-rounded martial arts education. The program’s child instruction and creative kung fu kids curriculum are described as making learning self-defense fun, and the academy notes a focus on exceptional quality kung fu training at affordable prices.

Grandmaster Tat-Mau Wong is internationally respected as a practitioner, teacher, and martial arts master, and he was honored in November 2016 at an international martial arts event in Malaysia and inducted into their Hall of Fame. The academy has received the San Francisco Bay Guardian Magazine Best of the Bay Award.
