Diane Disney Miller, daughter of Walt and Lillian Disney, is the founder of The Walt Disney Family Museum, which runs Studio Programs: Classes & Workshops. The museum states that its mission is to provide an inclusive, accessible, and educational space for the public, supported in part by its Work, Equity, and Inclusivity (WEI) Council. The museum partners with Bay Area Communication Access (BACA) for American Sign Language interpreter needs and notes that guests can request ASL interpreters for Talks, Workshops, School Experiences, Tours, and Storytimes, with requests submitted at least two weeks in advance and interpreter availability not guaranteed. Classes and Workshops state that they provide a wide range of visual and sensory accommodations, including physical items and visual or written instructions. Scholarships for Studio Programs are offered to qualifying families and students of all ages and may still be available even if a class is sold out. The Walt Disney Family Museum is described as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
