Tinker Preschool

Tinker Preschool is a Reggio-Emilia inspired early childhood program. The program includes daily outdoor nature learning, forest program time, bilingual English-Mandarin learning, Mandarin Immersion, and S.T.E.A.M. education.

• Tinker Preschool — 12 months - 5.9 years old; infants and toddlers: 12 months - 36 months · Full-time and part-time programs; Hours: 8:00am - 5:30pm
• Hybrid Forest program — 18 months ~ 5.9 years old
• Mandarin Immersion program — 18 months ~ 5.9 years old
• English and Mandarin Dual Language program — 12 months ~ 5.9 years old

About the provider

Tinker Preschool states that its mission is for Tinkerlings to become confident, lifelong learners who value process over product, connect with the natural environment, are socially-emotionally resilient, think critically and creatively through S.T.E.A.M. education, and use teamwork to make new meanings of the world around them. The program also says that Tinker families receive guidance when applying to Bay Area schools, including recommendations and evaluations, application support, and liaison help with admissions directors.
