Junior Golf Programs includes activities on the driving range, putting green, and chipping/pitching green, along with short game practice and golf instruction. Participants also spend time learning on-course etiquette, learning the rules of golf, and keeping score. Some sessions include lunch and swimming at the pool, and certain courses use partner games as part of the golf experience.

The Acorn Junior Camp introduces juniors to basic golf fundamentals through three stations: driving range, putting green, and chipping/pitching green, with two hours of golf instruction and lunch and swimming at the pool each day. The Junior Players Course focuses on getting children ready and comfortable to get on the course, using partner games to create comfortable levels of competition. The Players Course is for more advanced juniors and covers every aspect of the game in a one- or two-day comprehensive learning experience.
San Jose Country Club was established in 1899 and states that it is unique in its dedication to youth development and golf instruction, with a goal of providing programs for various age and skill levels so that youth enjoy the game and are given a chance to excel in playing the game. Instruction in these junior programs includes coaching from PGA Tour winner and PGA Tour Champions Major winner Mark Wiebe. San Jose Country Club participates in the Bay Cities League of Junior Golfers, where its junior team competes locally against other junior golf teams, and it is the home of PGA Tour professionals Joseph Bramlett and Justin Suh.
