Almaden Country Day School Summer Camps

Almaden Country Day School Summer Camps offers full-day and half-day theme camps with weekly Create, Move, and Explore rotations. The program also includes leadership camps with debate, resume writing, and leadership dynamics, S.T.E.A.M. camps with science, technology, engineering, arts, and math activities, performing arts camps with music, dance, and theater, and athletics and movement camps with basketball, volleyball, dance, and yoga.

• Summer Camps — Pre-K to Grade 10 · 5 weeks of full-day, morning, and afternoon camps from Monday, June 15 through Friday, July 24, 2026
• Full-Day & Half Day Theme Camps — Weekly themes through Create, Move, and Explore rotations.
• Leadership Camps — rising 4th–10th graders · Build real-world skills in debate, resume writing, and leadership dynamics.
• S.T.E.A.M. Camps — Pre-K through 8th grade · Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math hands-on experiences.
• Performing Arts Camps — Music, dance, and theater experiences.
• Athletics & Movement Camps — Basketball, volleyball, dance, and yoga.

About the provider

Almaden Country Day School Summer Camps has been offered since 1982 and is in its fifth decade. The Summer Camp Director is Sara Sobkoviak. The program states that 90%+ of Summer Camp staff are ACDS teachers, 100% of staff are First Aid Certified and trained in emergency preparedness, and 100% of staff are fully vetted with background checks. ACDS was named a School of Excellence in 2021, and the program is open to all children within and outside the ACDS community.
