Almaden Country Day School Summer Camps offers more than 75 camps that include hands-on STEM, robotics, game design, filmmaking, Rock Band, Chopped Jr. cooking camps, Nature Connection, volleyball, pickleball, literacy, math, high school application support, leadership camps, Model UN, Mock Trial, entrepreneurship, and Create, Move, and Explore rotations. Campers can also take part in Thursday Thrill Days with mobile caves, Star Labs, and water slides, as well as activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, math, coding, music, dance, theater, basketball, yoga, debate, and resume writing.

• Schedule: 5 weeks of full-day, morning, and afternoon camps from Monday, June 15 through Friday, July 24, 2026
Summer camps are open to all children, both within and outside of the Almaden Country Day School community, with flexible full-day and half-day options for all ages. Lunch is included for all full-day camp registrations, and there is free supervision during the lunch hour for campers registered for both a morning and afternoon session. Extended Care runs from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM following the conclusion of afternoon and full-day camps. Immersive themed weeks are offered for campers in Pre-K through 3rd grade, featuring inflatable water fun, the CaveSim experience, and Star Lab universe exploration, and leadership camps for middle schoolers include Model UN, Mock Trial, and Entrepreneurship. Closer to the start of Summer Camp, families receive information about what to bring, and campers registered for both a morning and afternoon session should pack or purchase a meal.
Almaden Country Day School has been a Pre-Kindergarten to 8th Grade all-gender independent, non-profit, nonsectarian South San Jose private school since 1982, with no-cut athletics from 5th–8th grades and the first and only Orton-Gillingham-based integrated learning program in the South Bay Area for children with language-based learning differences. The mission of Almaden Country Day School is to discover the gifts in every child. Families from throughout Silicon Valley—particularly Almaden Valley, Blossom Valley, Willow Glen, Los Gatos, Campbell, and Evergreen—choose Almaden Country Day School. The Summer Camp Director is Sara Sobkoviak, and more than 90% of Summer Camp staff are ACDS teachers; 100% of staff are First Aid Certified, trained in emergency preparedness, and fully vetted with background checks.
