AYSO Section 2 Youth Soccer Programs is a youth soccer program run under the American Youth Soccer Organization. The program follows the AYSO philosophy of Everyone Plays and includes the EPIC Program – Everyone Plays in Our Community – which is for players with special needs through participating Regions.
The mission of AYSO Section 2 Youth Soccer Programs is stated as providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. The Section 2 Director is Duston Denver. The broader AYSO organization has community involvement that includes work with Chicago Public Schools to enhance youth sports programming for fifth through eighth grade, a partnership with the US Center for Mental Health & Sport focused on player and volunteer wellness, and a partnership with the Northland Sports Alliance expanding soccer programming in Kansas City. AYSO leadership has received recognition such as the Stack Leadership Award given to Michael Karon, President of AYSO, for his impact in the world of sports volunteering.
