AnT Swim School

AnT Swim School offers Baby Ant (Infants) for children from 4 months to 3 years old, with one parent in the water and reusable swim diapers required. It also offers Lady Bug, Bumble Bee, Firefly, Grasshopper, Pre-Competitive, and a Teen Workout Class. The classes include entering the water with an instructor, pop-up breathing, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and endurance, speed, and technique work.

Programs

• Baby Ant (Infants) — minimum of 4 months old, up to 3 years old · Introduces babies and toddlers to the fundamentals of swimming in a fun and playful manner. 1 parent must be present in the water at all times. Reusable swim diapers are required.
• Lady Bug (Level 1) — 3 years+ with no prior swimming experience · Comfortably entering the water and being alone with an instructor. Class ratio is 2 students per 1 instructor. All classes are 20 minutes long.
• Bumble Bee (Level 2) — 3 years of age or older · Focuses on pop-up breathing and learning to swim face down unassisted.
• Firefly (Level 3) — 3 years of age or older · Students learn freestyle and backstroke and focus on taking 1-2 breaths for a distance of 12.5 yards.
• Grasshopper (Level 4) — 3+ years old · Freestyle with side breathing for 12 1/2 yards and backstroke for 12 1/2 yards.
• Pre-Competitive (Level 5) — Students swim all four strokes and 25 yards of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. 30-minute class with up to 12 kids per class.
• Teen Workout Class — teens · Mondays from 6:30-7pm · Designed for teens that complete the Pre-Competitive program and want to continue swimming without joining a competitive team. 30-minute swimming workout focusing on endurance, speed and technique.

About the provider

AnT Swim School was founded in 2018 and has over 30 years of experience. Its mission is to provide a strong foundation of swimming fundamentals for individuals of all ages and to progress students to their fullest swimming potential through a structured program. It has partnered with the Santa Visits Alviso Foundation since 2016 to sponsor swimming lessons for Alviso residents and is supported by the Brenda Villa Foundation.

Once enrolled in a class, the spot is guaranteed. Students are billed monthly until they request to discontinue. To unenroll, email 10 days prior to the end of the month to avoid being charged for the following month. Each class has a ratio of 4 students per 1 instructor except Level 1 classes, which have 2 students per 1 instructor. All classes are 30 minutes long except Level 1 classes which are 20 minutes long.
