AnT Swim School offers swim lessons and public swim times in a year-round swimming facility. Public swim is free at all AnT Swim School locations. The program includes a focus on positive teaching, inclusion, and drowning prevention.
• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Swim lesson options are available Monday through Saturday in the morning and afternoon/early evening, with Sunday closed for lessons. Public swim is offered Monday through Friday in the afternoon and on Saturdays in the morning, with additional public swim hours at the BIEBRACH location on weekdays, Friday evenings, and Saturday afternoons.
• Price: Children who are not potty trained must purchase a Happy Nappy reusable swim diaper to go in the pool ($20).
Children must be accompanied by an adult, and if a child does not know how to swim, an adult must be in the water with them. No inflatables are allowed. The staff has over 30 years of experience. The mission of AnT Swim School is “to provide a strong foundation of swimming fundamentals for individuals of all ages” and to progress students through a structured program while enabling the community to have access to a year-round swimming facility. AnT Swim School has a 5-star rating. Partners include the Brenda Villa Foundation and the Santa Visits Alviso Foundation, and since 2016 the Santa Visits Alviso Foundation has been sponsoring swimming lessons for residents of Alviso, with this support helping numerous children become water safe.
