AVAC Swim School offers swim lessons, Learn to Swim classes, Adult Swim Lessons, parent tot classes, and independent swimming without a parent. The program also offers camps, Safety Classes and safety courses, Open Swim, Pre-Comp, a kids night, and a free Barnacles class for babies starting at 8 weeks and going up to 5 months. Swimmers are grouped by age and ability using AVAC's proprietary child-development-based methods, and Open Swim is available as a spot for children to practice their latest skills and get more comfortable in the water.
• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Class and activity options are available Monday–Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturday–Sunday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
• Price: Group lessons are $49.50 per class, with tuition automatically debited monthly and adjusted based on how many times a class meets, and a 10% Double Day discount is offered for 3 or more swimmers from the same family.
AVAC Swim School offers year-round lessons in a custom-built Open Air pool heated to 90 degrees, with improved air quality and resources to help families prepare their future swimmer before, during, and after their lessons. AVAC Swim School is local and family owned, has been in operation since 1976, and offers award-winning lessons. The leadership team includes Associate General Manager Danielle Griffith-Jones, Associate Swim School Director Sheena Comarsh, Site Managers Siena Ruiz and Coral Zohar, and Daniel Ramm. The program’s stated mission is that its passionate and fun-loving team creates comfortable and confident swimmers, while teaching a life-saving skill, and is ready to provide a family centered experience.
