About the provider
The Chitresh Das Institute says it seeks to ignite the world’s passion for kathak dance and Indian classical arts, with art rooted in tradition, responding to the now, and guided by community, legacy, and seva (service). Its leadership team includes Artistic Director Charlotte Moraga, Executive Director Celine Schein Das, Operations & School Manager Bhavya K. Jain, Youth Company Assistant Director Asavari Ukidve, and Video Production Specialist Kritika Sharma. Kathak Dance Faculty includes Charlotte Moraga, Anita Pai, Preeti Zalavadia, Asavari Ukidve, Celine Schein Das, Rucha Khisti, Gauri Bhatnagar, Samyukta Patil, and Vanita Mundhra, and Teaching Assistants include Avani Viswanathan, Ananti Badhwar, and Maahi Desai.
CDYC Training is by audition only. Chitresh Das Dance / CDYC at DSG Studios is by invitation only. Trial classes are listed for some offerings.
