East West Music and Dance offers classes in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatic Dance, and K-Pop. The program also offers music lessons in addition to dance classes. Classes take place in state-of-the-art dance studios and private music lesson rooms.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Class and lesson options Monday–Thursday afternoons and evenings, Friday afternoons and evenings, and Saturday late morning to early afternoon
East West Music and Dance states that it provides a fun, family-friendly and positive learning experience for performing arts students of all ages. The program has been inspiring dancers since 1975, with over fifty years of experience teaching dance in the San Jose, Cupertino, and Saratoga area. It offers personal attention and individualized instruction for each student, with both group and private classes available, including in-person classes for young students and adults, as well as summer dance classes and specialized dance workshops. East West Music and Dance has a Performing Company (EWMD PC) whose dancers can participate in local and national competitions and conventions, with auditions held every year in May for ages 8 and up. EWMD PC also provides several opportunities each year for dancers to perform at local and community events.
