Elite Youth Flag Football offers organized flag football for kids in a league that is the official league of the NFL. The program includes both recreational and competitive divisions, and every team receives NFL-branded jerseys and equipment. Boys and girls of all abilities and experience levels can learn how to play flag football in this program.
• Schedule: Saturdays during Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons, with a 49ers Flag summer season
Flag football in this program is presented as a great introduction to football for children who are new to the sport and as fun, competitive, and exciting for kids who have more experience. It is also described as a way for skill position players and defenders to work on their fundamentals without contact and as a way for kids to be active, make friends, and play on a team. All coaches complete yearly health and safety trainings and a background check at the beginning of each season, and each official completes a certification course. The program has been recognized as NFL FLAG's 2024 Rookie League Of The Year. The program also lists involvement with the RCX Foundation through an option to apply for a grant.
