Evergreen Dance Academy

Evergreen Dance Academy offers ballet, folk dance, hip-hop, K-Pop, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary/modern classes. The ballet program has four levels, and class placement is based on age, maturity, accomplishment, physical strength, and commitment. The program also offers adult classes, including Barre and Technique, Chinese Folk Dance, and Chinese Classical Dance.

Programs

• Ballet — Pre-Ballet: kindergarten and new to ballet; Ballet 1: ages 7-9; Ballet 2: ages 9-11; Ballet 3: above 12 · Program classes meet on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and by class series listing · Formal ballet program with 4 levels; class placement is based on age, maturity, accomplishment, physical strength and commitment.
• Folk Dance — Adult; Competition Folk Dance: above 12 · Program classes meet on Mondays and Sundays; class series listings shown · Focuses mainly on Chinese folk dance; includes learning styles of different ethnic groups. Competition Folk Dance is listed for students above 12 years.
• Hip-Hop & K-Pop — <10 years; >10 years · Program classes meet on Wednesdays · Hip-Hop and K-POP classes are offered in separate age groups.
• Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary/Modern — Combines the strength and base of ballet with jazz technique to train dancers in performance expression, technique versatility and fluidity in movement.
• Adult Classes — Adult · Adult classes include Barre and Technique, Chinese Folk Dance, and Chinese Classical Dance.
