Evergreen Montessori School offers children chances to explore nature, learn through hands-on experience, and learn by collaboration and observation. The program includes activities where children use problem-solving skills, manage challenges, master new skills, and build self confidence. Children learn in safe, bright and inquisitive spaces with a scientifically designed indoor environment and mixed-age classrooms.

Evergreen Montessori School has been nurturing children ages 18 months through Kindergarten for over two decades in San Jose and was established over fifteen years ago. The school follows a Montessori philosophy as its guiding principle, with a trusted, evolving and scientific methodology, early childhood education, and mixed-age classrooms. The program offers customized learning at each child's pace, with low teacher to student ratios of approximately 1:4 to 1:7 in all classrooms and no hidden extra fees, and includes Pre-K and day care. Teachers are trained and certified by the American Montessori Society (AMS), Evergreen Montessori School is affiliated with AMS, and at all times a CPR certified staff member is present. The leadership team includes Ms. Shveta Shourie, President of Evergreen Montessori School. The mission of Evergreen Montessori School is to create an environment for facilitating the unfolding of the human potential, foster an enthusiasm for learning, encourage children to reach their fullest potential, and emphasize basic academic disciplines while promoting the development of independence, self-respect, and courtesy for others.
