Happy Hollow Park & Zoo Education Programs

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo Education Programs offers Summer Camps for ages 5 to 13, School-based Classes & Assemblies with presentations for all ages, and Scout Programs for mixed ages. The Scout Programs include hands-on discussions and live animal encounters so Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts can earn badges. Summer camps run June 1 to August 5, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Scholarship recipients, San José residents, and non-San José residents have separate 2026 Summer Camps registration dates listed at 10 a.m. Camp registration policy states that campers may be registered for each camp theme within their age group only once per summer season, and duplicate registrations for the same topic in the same summer season will be cancelled at the discretion of Zoo Education staff. Scholarships are available for Title I schools within Santa Clara County for some programs.
