AVAC Junior Tennis offers junior tennis classes and the Ultimate Tennis Summer Camp, with activities that include Tennis, Pickleball, Swimming, Ninja Zone, and Pizza Parties. The program includes Tiny Tots, Junior Foundations, Junior Development, Junior Competition, Tournament Foundations, and Tournament Training tennis classes, as well as the Ultimate Tennis Summer Camp.

• Schedule: Weekly Tiny Tots, Junior Foundations, Junior Development, Junior Competition, Tournament Foundations, and Tournament Training classes on weekdays and weekends; Ultimate Tennis Summer Camp runs weekly from June 1 through August 14 with all-day (9 am–3 pm) and half-day (9 am–12:30 pm) options

Since 1976, Almaden Valley Athletic Club has been a favorite destination for San Jose families. AVAC Junior Tennis is part of a family-owned club that offers swim, tennis, fitness, and kids camps on a five-acre campus with extensive fitness and aquatics facilities and 50+ classes per week on-site and virtual. Tournament Training is taught by Tennis Director Josh Martin, who leads the tennis program. The stated goal of AVAC Junior Tennis is to provide a positive experience in order to help kids develop a love for the sport and establish a foundation to grow from in the future. Team AVAC is known throughout the Bay Area as a “work hard, play hard” group that does whatever it takes for each other and the community, and has been recognized as a Top Workplaces 2025 organization. Parents are asked to ensure each child brings water, a tennis racquet, and appropriate tennis shoes.
