AVAC Junior Tennis offers Tiny Tots for ages 5 to 7, Junior Foundations, Junior Foundations 2.0, Junior Development for typically ages 10 to 13, Junior Competition for typically ages 12 to 17, Tournament Foundations (Invitation Only) for ages 6 to 8, and Tournament Training (Invitation Only) for 10 and under. The offerings include drills, games, orange balls, basic fitness, rallying, and match play.
Programs
- Tiny Tots — 5 - 7 · Tuesdays 3:15-4:00 pm; Thursdays 3:15-4:00 pm, 5:00-5:45 pm, 5:45-6:30 pm · $30 per class · Designed for youngest players; introduces tennis in a fun, low-pressure environment.
- Junior Foundations — Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays 4:00-5:00 pm; Saturdays 9:00-10:00 am; Sundays 9:00-10:00 am · $38 per class · For players with little to no tennis experience.
- Junior Foundations 2.0 — typically 8 - 11 · Thursdays 4:00-5:30 pm; Fridays 5:00-6:30 pm; Saturdays 10:00-11:30 am · For players with little to no tennis experience; introduces fundamentals with drills, games, orange balls, and basic fitness.
- Junior Development — typically 10 - 13 · Tuesdays/Thursdays 5:00-6:30 pm; Saturdays 10:00-11:30 am; Sundays 10:00-11:30 am · $55 per class · For players with established technique, working towards rallying / match play.
- Junior Competition — typically 12 - 17 · Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays 4:00-6:00 pm; Saturdays 11:30 am-1:30 pm; Sundays 11:30 am-1:30 pm · $70 per class · For players looking to compete on high school teams or junior team tennis.
- Tournament Foundations (Invitation Only) — 6 - 8 · Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 pm · $52 per class · Designed to help establish strong fundamentals for younger players with the goal of eventual tournament tennis.
- Tournament Training (Invitation Only) — 10 & under · Mondays & Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 pm · $70 per class · Long-term clinic for players looking to enter tournament play and prepare for future college play.
